Lumen, Gen AI at the heart of our processes

We bring generative AI to the heart of our factories
As the concept of the cognitive factory sets the direction for the next era of manufacturing, generative AI is emerging as a key enabling technology for this transformation.
This vision led us to develop Lumen, our proprietary cognitive platform designed to operate across the entire data lifecycle.
How Lumen was created and what it does
Lumen originated from an innovative idea developed by our team. Following extensive discussions with our production and engineering teams, we identified the need to make information sharing and exchange faster and simpler, placing data at the heart of the decision-making process.
In just a few months of research and development, this need evolved into Lumen: a cognitive AI-based platform that integrates external information with internal data from MES, ERP, SCM, CRM, quality, energy management systems, and much more.
Lumen is an intelligent architecture that sits above existing systems, acting as a connector between data and people.
The platform architecture
Lumen uses a multi-agent architecture, with specialized agents that work together to retrieve, interpret and correlate information, providing contextualized responses. This approach is complemented by a hybrid architecture designed for industrial environments and based on two complementary layers of intelligence.
The first layer operates in the cloud, while the second runs locally within the factory. The two work in synergy: the cloud provides cognitive power and the ability to continuously update and interact with external sources, while the local layer ensures controlled execution, response times suited to the production environment, and protection of sensitive data.
This architecture brings artificial intelligence closer to the factory while retaining access to the capabilities of the best models available on the market.
